A once open space in the middle of St Julian's, which once provided much needed spatial and recreational area, is now being converted into a commercial plot housing 370 units, over 5 storeys of car park, and 4, 8 and 10 storey buildings, as well as two towers of 18 and 23 flooers respectively.

The main contention against the development is twofold: 1 - The erection of the building does not honour the initially submitted plans in that the currently designed foot print is causing buildings ti rise too high upwards. 2 - The five storey car park will release a very high concentration of pollutant into the air, to the detriment of all residents. |
