Il-Karraba

Il-Karraba is geographically located between two bays, namely Ghajn Tuffieha and the bay of Gnejna on the west of the Island. It can be reached by scaling around the natural reserve on the inner side of Ghajn Tuffieha, and following paths on the clay slopes leading right up to it. You will notice that the views change every few paces. Enjoy

This steppe is protected and looked after by the Gaia Foundation, and listed as one of our foremost natural flora reserves. The walk leads right across it.

Looking onto Gnejna Bay. Notice the flat rock jutting out into the sea. Later it can be seen photographed from above.

The Ghajn Tuffieha tower in an unusual view, with Manikata immediately behind it, and Mellieha, Ta'Pennellu in the distance.
