Photography My photographic portfolio is mounted over a typical museum structure. The imaginary building here represents this exhibition venue, and is arranged over 4 floors. The various works may occasionally shift floors, or be replaced. I am trying to render a theme to each floor. Enjoy. ... (André Micallef-Grimaud)

Introduction
My interest in photography started when i needed to photograph my small scale military models early in 1968.

My first camera was a simple 'instamatic'.  Later, I acquired my dad's Agfa (120 roll film - pocket bellows camera), to gain some more control at closer range (24 inches).

In 1974, I purchased my first manual Halina 35mm. A very imperfect little piece, but this was my first step into the world of photographic technique.

While moving from one SLR to another, I extended my photographic interest into processing and printing monochrome.  Thanks to my membership in the Malta Photographic Society, I developed a keen competitive spirt, and an adequate sense of appreciation.

My darkroom practice led me to take my Licentiate in Photography with the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain in 1989.
